What is the BNE Academy
Brisbane is all set to host the 2032 Olympics and if you're aged 12-15 years old, then in 2032 you will be 22 - 25 years old and in your prime to represent Australia at a home Olympic Games in XCO Mountain Biking!
The BNE Academy has been established to assist riders with skills development, training prescription and race craft. The BNE Academy is for riders who want to improve their riding at a Local, State, National and International competition level all the way through to those that have Olympic aspirations now and into the future.
The program will have an emphasis on education, athlete development and skills. There will be a focus on racing for developing and increasing learning opportunities.
Your coaches are Donna Dall from Progressive Coaching Systems and Dylan Cooper from Ride Technics.
The BNE Academy is taking applications from interested riders aged 12-15yo in 2022! Season two of the program will start on the 24th Aprily 2022!

Long Term Athlete Development with age appropriate training
Our emphasis is on FUN, ENJOYMENT and PROGRESSION!
Educate riders on the various aspects of becoming a healthy and successful athlete for the longterm

Who Is the BNE Academy program for?
If you are 12-15yo in 2022 and serious about enhancing your riding AND you live in Brisbane, then the BNE Academy is for you!
The BNE Academy will help junior riders keep engaged and feel supported in their racing and training. The BNE Academy will give you the education, tools and experience you need to succeed.
Whats included?
Training Program
Proven training techniques used by World Championship winning athletes:
- Training program provided using Today's Plan

Skills Training Sessions

- Improved bike handling skills over all terrain.
- Maintaining flow and speed on the bike.
Smoothness and efficiency over all terrain. - Building your confidence for riding and racing.
- Maximising performance in all race disciplines.
Support at Local Brisbane races
Build confidence and skills with face to face training on track:
- Face to face training rides on track prior to events
- Session key features before the event
- Support and mentoring at key events throughout the year
