Whether you want to become the next World, National, State or Club champion, or just want to become a better rider, PCS will help maximise your potential and get those all important tangible results.   

Process x Progression = PERFORMANCE  

By following the process and multiplying this with progression, you will see marked improvement in your performance. The periodised training cycle is developed precisely to improve specific energy systems and achieve certain physical and psychological adaptations in the yearly training plan. PCS takes a holistic approach to your training and considers all aspects including endurance, strength, power, speed, psychology and nutrition.  

How it works

 

Your coach builds your training program from scratch every 3 months (13 weeks), using information from your Athlete Profile and Enrolment Form, Field Tests, and ongoing personal interaction. On a monthly basis, your coach reviews your diary, and any power or heart rate files you provide, and adjusts your program accordingly. Frequent communication is encouraged so your coach can better monitor your progress and provide guidance for optimal performance.

Time constraints 

In today’s busy world, you want optimise the limited time you have to train.  The PCS program offers the best possible use of that valuable time. Regardless of how many hours you spend on the bike, we will ensure that each minute counts and that you are training for quality. Even if you can only spend a few hours a week on the bike, PCS will design your program so that your precious time is not wasted and exploits those opportunities to squeeze in hard quality training when it counts so you can reap all the benefits.  

 

Personalised

A common misconception about structured training programs is that “I can’t do my own thing!” With a PCS training program, this could NOT be further from the truth. Because your program is designed specifically for your needs and goals there are a number of factors we consider.  

These include your:  

  • available time to train  
  • available training days  
  • history  
  • goals  
  • strengths and weaknesses  
  • other commitments (for example work, partner, dog, budgie and band camp)
