Max Heart Rate Testing (lab)
If you are using a heart rate monitor for your training, it is very important to know your actual maximum heart rate to calculate your heart rate training zones. If you simply use the old 220 minus your age calculation, you could be either under training and not reaching your full potential or worse, over training and digging yourself a deep hole. PCS coaches have been trained in the correct techniques to help athletes produce an accurate maximum heart rate reading and perform these tests regularly.

Power Testing (lab)
PCS coaches regularly undertake various power tests on Wattbikes to ensure athletes are progressively making incremental gains in their strength, power and aerobic capacity.
Power tests
- 3 minute aerobic test
- 10 minute progress check
- 20 minute high percentage of maximum minute power test
