Hi, I just wanted to say thanks….For a whole bunch of things!
12 months ago to the weekend, when I bought my bike, I never thought that I’d race a 12hr solo or that I’ve have committed to a 24hr solo race or that I’d achieve half of what I’ve achieved since I started training with you and running with programs developed by you.
It really has been a game changer for me. I’ve developed a love for a hobby and sport that ok, is expensive and results in occasional crashes and blood, lots of sweat and the odd tear and means that almost all my spare time is spent on the bike, but at the end of the day, I am, and continue to be inspired by the sport and you and your programs have helped me realise that I can develop into a better mountain biker and that I can achieve goals if I set my mind to it and have the right structure in place around me.
If anyone needs a testimony to the great job you guys do, give them my number and tell them to give me a call. You’ve successfully turned an unfit, 109kg takeaway eating, beer swilling ex-rugby player into a healthier 90kg (another 10kgs to my 80kg target), fitter….mountain biker.
Attached is the proof that I’m going in the right direction – smiling while in pain too! But I know that it’s going to take a monumental effort to achieve my goals in October and I can’t wait to face them head on.
